TODO: support email
We aim to reply within two working days.
It helps to say which language you are learning, and whether you are on the phone app or the website.
Common questions
Do I need an account to read?
No. The whole library is readable without signing in, and every word is tappable for its meaning, its grammar and its audio. An account only keeps your place, your notes and your saved words so they follow you between devices.
I did not get my sign-in code.
Sprekka signs you in with a six-digit code sent by email — there is no password to forget. Codes last thirty minutes and work once. If one has not arrived, check the spam folder, then ask for another. If it still does not come, write to us with the address you used.
How do I stop paying?
If you subscribed on iPhone or iPad, the subscription belongs to your Apple account: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Sprekka → Cancel. We cannot cancel an Apple subscription for you, and neither can Apple's support ask us to. If you subscribed anywhere else, write to us and we will stop it.
Can I get a refund?
Purchases made through Apple are refunded by Apple, at reportaproblem.apple.com — that is the only route, because Apple is the seller. For anything bought directly, write to TODO: support email and we will refund it. Your statutory rights are set out in the terms.
How do I delete my account?
In the app, tap You and choose Close account. It erases the account and everything stored under it — notes, saved words, reading history — immediately. It is not a deactivation and there is nothing to undo it, so take a copy first if you want one.
Can I take my data with me?
Yes. You → Download my data hands back everything the account holds as a single file.
Does it work offline?
Yes. The dictionary ships with the app, and a piece you have opened stays readable with no connection. Books can be downloaded before you travel.
Something in a text looks wrong.
Tell us which piece and which line. The translations and grammar are prepared in advance rather than generated as you read, which means a mistake is a mistake in our data and we can actually fix it for everyone.
Who runs Sprekka?
Sprekka is operated by TODO: trading name, TODO: registered address. See the terms and the privacy policy.
If you are an App Store reviewer: no account is needed to use the app. Sign-in details for testing the account features are in the App Review Information for this version.
