What happened

In the night of 29–30 September 1938, Germany, Italy, Britain and France agreed in Munich that Czechoslovakia must hand its border regions, the Sudetenland, to Nazi Germany. Czechoslovakia was not invited to the talks. Czechs still sum it up in four words: o nás bez nás — about us, without us.

Say it

V Mnichově se rozhodlo o nás bez nás.

At Munich it was decided about us, without us.
